50/50 Split

DOLLS music UK Madonna Rob Zombie

Here’s the hilarious crowd review thing that Reverbnation sent me, which is genuinely LOL, mostly because WTF even, but sidenote probably true. I went to a Rob Zombie concert once and I think it’s fair to say we’re basically indistinguishable from one another, particularly when both in that Gaultier corset. Let’s all not eat popcorn, break out the Evian and watch MADONNA Truth Or Dareor, as my copy is called, In Bed With Madonna. (It’s German.)

I’ve been given some delicious love of the international variety (isn’t it always the case), which I will share with you, because you’re cute and I’m bored. And THEY’RE delish, even.

Direct from the Netherlands, with liefde, The (slightly mysterious, crime-fighty in a promoting indie music kind of way) Dutch Guy (who you can/must follow on Twitter) had THIS to say about yours truly:

“This dark synth-pop track got a Depeche Mode-ish feel to it, and with her sulky yet sensual vocals on top of it, ‘Pedestal‘ is by far the best track she has dropped on us this year!

So, if you haven’t played (with) Dolls before, I suggest to do it now!”

Because OBVIOUSLY; U.S. Indie blog MuzicNotez picked the fabulous radio host/blogger extraordinaire’s comments up like they were born to run (features on amazing indie artists like myself). Click them with love in your heart HERE, and share it up on social media. KARMA!

Oh HAI, United Kingdom; don’t sulk, it’s Guy Fawkes! You’re still international – YOU COUNT. Thanks to Aimless Skylarking for this sweet treat… which you can see on the web HERE but of course I’ll repro it for you, because you’re cute, and I’m bored, and I like talking about other people talking about me.

“The video for the track, Pedestal, premiered today and leans stylistically on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, distilling the off kilter essence of the series into an oddly compelling 4-minute piece of performance art. I’m finding it hard to stop watching. Part of the musical appeal lies in my new found love of synth pop sounds, throbbing synths along with a seductive vocal delivery makes ‘Pedestal’ a winner for me..”
